The ‘saison’ style is the original farmhouse ale – brewed on farms in Belgium for seasonal field workers who helped bring in the harvest.
This beer is a modern interpretation of the style, with the addition of rhubarb gathered from across Linlithgow from members of a local grow-your-own group. Tart, fruity and delicious.

As always, delivery is free to all addresses within a 5 mile radius of the brewery, and for all orders over £40. For those within an 18 mile radius of the brewery – this covers council areas of Midlothian (Edinburgh), West Lothian, Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and much of the South and West of Fife – delivery is free for orders over £20.

Joy in a glass and definitely not just for the summer.
For me, the rhubarb fruitiness was dry enough to help this avoid being ‘fruity’ but lightened the hops brilliantly to make it seem much less than its 6.2%.
Suits my drinking preferences brilliantly and was refreshingly easy to drink. Let me know when it’s back in stock pls, this is a total winner.

Real winner. Perfect fruitiness of the rhubarb complementing the dryness of the brew belies it’s high ABV. Easy to drink one too many cold ones on a summer eve!
